Great Blue Herons 1979

This window entitled "Great Blue Herons" was commissioned for a house in New Jersey in 1979.  It is a traditional style of leaded stained glass using unusual sheets of hand blown full antique reamy German glass.  Every piece was selectively cut realizing that only so much glass was available. This limitation was a factor in Zeitz developing his style of fused stained glass where all the color and variation is created by the artist, not the manufacturer of the glass.
