1854 Opera Storyboard

Zeitz was commissioned to do five drawings in charcoal to depict scenes from a new opera being developed about abolition on Martha's Vineyard. Each is 14" x 17". This first ones shows the townspeople gathering for town meeting at Union Chapel in Oak Bluffs, Ma.
