Fused Glass Figure Drawings
67 Deer Hill Road
Fused Glass Figure DrawingsThis fused stained glass figure drawing was created using Zeitz' layering technique of painting and drawing with metal oxides on a base glass and adding stained glass on top. A second firing with a low melting top glaze adds more dimension. Barney has thousands of figure drawings from a decade of figure drawing classes done in charcoal and/or washes. This is the first conversion to glass of one of these drawings. The frame is stainless steel that has been carved.

Fused Glass Figure Drawing
This fused stained glass figure drawing was created by drawing and painting with metal oxides on a base glass, then adding full thicknesses and crushed stained glass, firing in a kiln. A second firing of a top glaze is then added for greater depth.
